    Musical Notes
I have been musically active all my life and have performed solo and group vocals since childhood. Over the years I have performed many different styles with large and small groups.

After a hiatus of some ten years I am focusing on writing and recording new material. Recordings will be available here as they are completed, so please keep checking back.

If you are looking for a vocalist for a recording project in or around London you can contact me here.

    Greg + Lou @ The Prospect, Fulham2004-07-14
Greg and Lou McKenzie played a few songs at Open Mike night at The Prospect on Fulham Road. Lou had written and recorded the songs previously, so they spent a couple of evenings working out some nice arrangements for vox + acoustic guitar.
Kelly Waters at the Half Moon2004-04-05
Greg and I went to the Half Moon in Putney with my sister Heidi to see a friend of ours who was performing some original songs there at one of the Monday night Acoustic Sessions. Kelly was fab, she is a very talented singer songwriter. She's only been performing for 18 months, but you'd think she'd been doing this all her life. Her style I thought was peppered with influences from Jewel, Fiona Apple and Sarah MacLaughlan. Warm, soulful music!
    We're at the Cat's Back…2004-04-01
Tonight we went to the Cat's Back to support Tim Breen, Greg's band mate and Tim's singer songwriter friend Annie Moss. It was a great night. With an eclectic range of music. There were four different performers (excluding rowdy drunkards Hugh and Ian, who were actually kinda funny.) Tim was great as always, but was just on BV's tonight, so we didn't get to hear the true potential of those golden vocal chords. But watch this man…
    "I'm a little bit country…"2003-10-24
I started writing a song with Greg this week. The first verse goes like this:
It's a long way from the front room to the bedroom,
when you make it on your own,
So I've been sitting here with one eye on the TV,
and the other eye on the phone.

It has a very 'Jewel' like flavour to it, but when you just read the words it's a little more 'country' than I'm comfortable with! Good thing Greg's music rocks. :)
    Debut Performance "Summer"2003-09-11
My first public performance in years. I chose to perform an original song called Summer for this Turnham Green concert for students of excellent vocal coach Helen Astrid from HarmonyWorks. The audience reaction and comments were so good I have decided to record this piece first. :)
    Lago d'Orta Italy2000-10-01
When our close friends Don and Alina were married in northern Italy at the beautiful Lago d'Orta, Greg and I had the privilege of performing their wedding song. It was such an amazing experience singing at their wedding. I had to fight back the tears during the song, so it was quite an emotive performance. But one that I will treasure.
